Implied probability and odds converter
Convert American odds into implied probability, decimal odds, estimated fractional odds, profit, and total return—or convert a probability back into American odds.
Enter positive odds with a plus sign or number, and negative odds with a minus sign.
Change either field to convert American odds to probability or probability back to American odds.
Odds conversions describe the break-even rate built into a price; they do not predict the outcome.
What the result means
Use the number as an estimate
Implied probability translates a price into the win rate required to break even before considering any model or market view. It is a property of the offered price, not proof of the outcome’s true probability.
+150 implies 40.00% and decimal odds of 2.50. A $100 winning stake returns $250 in total: the original $100 stake plus $150 profit.

Important limits
What the calculator cannot verify
- The sportsbook margin can make raw implied probability higher than fair probability.
- Fractional output is an approximation for display.
- Always use the final accepted price when evaluating a wager.
