About

What Edge is — and what it isn't

Edge is an iOS app that helps US sports bettors find positive expected value (+EV) bets across 13+ sportsbooks and prediction markets. We scan thousands of lines in real time, calculate fair value using statistical models, and grade every betting opportunity A through F so you can see where the real value is at a glance.

Edge is not a sportsbook. We do not accept bets, hold funds, or process wagers. You place every bet yourself through your own account at a licensed sportsbook. Edge is an analysis and information tool — nothing more.

How Edge works

Our models pull odds in real time across every major US betting platform, then compare them against our fair-value estimates. When a sportsbook is offering a price meaningfully better than fair value, that bet gets a high grade. When it's offering a worse price than fair, it gets a low grade.

You can read more about the math in our blog post on expected value in sports betting.

What Edge covers

Edge ingests live odds across 13+ US betting platforms, organized into three categories:

Sports include the NBA, MLB, NHL, NFL and college football, soccer, and tennis — with full coverage of game lines (moneyline, spread, totals) and a deep library of player props.

Beyond single bets

Edge isn't just a line-shopping tool. A few features that go beyond comparing single bets:

How we make money

Edge Pro is a subscription: $9.99/month or $79.99/year (about $6.67/month, ~33% off). Every plan starts with a 3-day free trial. We may also earn affiliate commissions from sportsbooks when users sign up through deep links in the app. This never affects our grading. Every sportsbook is graded on the same scale, based on the actual odds it offers. We have no incentive to recommend a worse price.

Editorial principles

Who we are

The Edge team is a small group of engineers and sports analysts based in the US. We built Edge because we were tired of manually comparing odds across ten different apps to find +EV bets. We use Edge ourselves every day.
