The same player and stat can appear at different lines and prices across several platforms. Edge organizes matching markets so you can compare the offered price, the best available alternative, and the market-based fair-odds estimate.
Edge does not claim to know a player’s “true” probability. It converts available American odds to implied probabilities, averages the matched bookmaker market to estimate fair probability, and compares each offered price with that estimate.
Diamond Club uses separately tracked points and rebounds models. Those picks and their historical results are distinct from the market-based calculation used for standard grades. See the available record, sample size, ROI, and latest update on the performance page.
A prediction and a value grade answer different questions: a prediction estimates an outcome, while a standard grade evaluates whether the current price appears favorable relative to the broader market.
Market consensus can be wrong, data can be delayed, and a favorable estimate can still lose. Use a predetermined bankroll, understand the sportsbook’s rules, and never risk money you cannot afford to lose.
